Conveniently located in the inner west of Sydney, NSW, Petersham Family Medical Centre is a multi-disciplined medical and allied health centre. Our doctors/GPs and allied health practitioners are fully trained, qualified and accredited, and the Centre is fully computerised, accredited and equipped with the latest equipment and technology. Our mission is to provide our customers with an extensive range of services, delivering the best possible clinical care, provided by suitably qualified and dedicated practitioners and staff with the most up-to-date and proven methods, materials and equipment.

At Petersham Family Medical Centre, we provide a wide ranging combination of services, from treatment of acute to chronic illnesses (including the management of emergency cases), women’s health, child health, psychology and counselling services, travel and general family health. We respect your need for prompt and efficient attention and endeavour to attend to you as quickly as possible, particularly in the case of sudden, acute and emergency cases. We are a modern, fully equipped, accredited practice and we take pride in the fact that all our policies and procedures comply with the relevant industry and government standards. We are proud to provide our full range of medical and allied health services to patients of all backgrounds, including those from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Bulk BILLING PRACTICE
We are a Bulk Billing practice – eligible patients are fully Bulk Billed.

We believe in good health for everyone. Bulk billing is important – it means you don’t have to worry about money if you have a valid Medicare card when seeing a doctor at our practice. For some families it means you actually can see a doctor. At Petersham Family Medical Centre, we take pride in providing our full range of medical and allied health services to patients of all backgrounds including those from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Our doctors bulk bill all patients with a valid Medicare card for all consultations, regardless of whether the consultation is during normal business hours or after hours, and whether the consultation is made by appointment or not. EXTENDED OPENING HOURS
Open 7 Days : 9am – Midnight
Illness doesn’t always occur during business hours and there are times during normal working hours when you just can’t find the time to see a doctor. That’s why, as part of our commitment to providing the best possible service to patients, we’ve extended our opening hours.

Petersham Family Medical Centre is now the only medical practice at Petersham that is open 7 days a week including public holidays. We are also open in the evenings (weeknights to 12am). Widest Range of Health Practitioners @ Petersham
Currently, we have three General Practitioners at Petersham Family Medical Centre, including both male and female doctors. In addition, we offer the most comprehensive range of allied health practitioners at the same location to be found anywhere in the inner west. We have Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Dietitians and Clinical Psychologists, all operating at the Centre. Our doctors/GPs and allied health practitioners are all fully trained, qualified and accredited. Our practitioners are all committed to good clinical practice (GCP). At our Centre we encourage our practitioners to contribute to the professional education of other practitioners, and to the advancement of medical knowledge by participating in relevant clinical research.
